Measurements are obtained optically via a total station in conjunction with proprietary targets. This enables unparalleled accuracy in three dimensions. It's the same method used to build skyscrapers, ships, and bridges. Coordinates for complex geometries can be easily and accurately acquired. Pools and other obstacles are not impediments with this technique.

The contractor receives (2) 24" x 36" and (6) 11" x 17" high resolution color coded drawings for each standard layout. All drawings are developed with CAD and can be customized for unique customer requirements. Absolute dimensions for virtually every enclosure member are depicted, including the lengths and angles for lateral braces, locations of door headers, and the specifications to completely preassemble gutter with angle (as required).

The cost for this state of the art layout service is comparable to what others charge for crude pencil drawn layouts derived with a simple tape. Consequently, the contractor ends up saving money and avoiding frustration by building enclosures that fit the first time without modifications.

Optional services:

Preliminary CAD site surveys/layouts that can be emailed directly to your engineer to create permit drawings. This service can reduce lead times and eliminate burdensome revisions.

CAD design of custom extrusions, including cross-section properties, to enable the customer to evaluate the cost and performance of the design. A dxf file is also provided for the die maker's benefit.
